THE INDIANA PLACE HOUSE

The clients wanted a space for their family and friends to enjoy cozy movie / game nights. We added steel beams to create spaciousness, custom wood paneling to add warmth and texture, and a custom bar top where guests can enjoy a nice glass of wine from the built-in wine fridge.

They also wanted a private space for overnight guests. We added an elegant, light-filled guest room, full bathroom with a custom curbless shower and 3D hexagon design, and a versatile kitchenette for morning coffee, entertaining, and more.

We love the vision the clients had for this space and we are thrilled it’s now a reality!

Basement Kitchen

Would you ever guess this is a basement kitchen? Our clients wanted a space that complimented their new movie room and where visiting guests could feel at home, away from home. The Tectonic Design Team are experts in bringing light and height to basements. We used herribone tile, under shelf lighting, and drop lighting to provide depth and texture, and a soft subtle blue for a modern, warming touch.

Bedroom

The clients wanted to transform their basement into a home away from home for guests. We designed and built this elegant, light-filled guest room for equal parts function and beauty. Guests have access to a private bathroom and kitchenette downstairs, too. What a transformation and an easy way for clients to capitalize on space they already have.

Movie Room

The playful, modern design of this bathroom immediately makes you forget you’re in a basement. We added luxurious features like a custom curbless shower and a removable shower wand, 3D hexagon tiles for texture, and custom beetle kill pine shelves for warmth and added storage.
