“What’s really impressed me about Tectonic is their ability to orchestrate. Tectonic is very detail-oriented, committed to client satisfaction and excellence. Things don’t always go right on construction projects, and Tectonic has always stepped up and made things right.”

At Tectonic, a home remodel is more than an upgrade; it’s an opportunity to reimagine how your home supports the life you want to live.

Whether you're remodeling a single room or your entire home, we take the same thoughtful approach as our custom builds, blending design, craftsmanship, and sustainability to create spaces that truly reflect you.

Why Tectonic?

01. Handshake-to-Homebuild Process

Our in-house team of architects, designers, and builders works together from day one, eliminating miscommunication, delays, and inefficiencies common with separate teams. Our process is meticulously crafted and maintained so that no detail is missed, no nuance skipped in favor of “just get it done”--we just do it right the first time.

The result is a premium, never-lift-a-finger experience for you.

02. Excellence-driven People

Everyone at Tectonic is at the top of their field, and we’re driven to be the best at what we do. We take immense pride in our work–the attention to detail, thoughtful decisions and crystal-clear communication–so you’re thrilled with the results.

03. Transparent Communication

Our goal isn’t just to get your business at any cost. When your project is done, we want our relationship with you to continue, and that means leading with integrity.

We respect you enough to have the hard conversations–the ones other builders avoid, like realistic timelines and honest pricing.

We keep you in the loop with BuilderTrend, a cutting-edge app that lets you see everything from bills to timelines to daily progress pics.

And our fixed-price contracts provide transparency and security. Unlike other design and build firms, you’ll never be blindsided by how much your home remodel or build cost when all is said and done.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We get it: one of the scariest parts of home remodeling is that feeling that whatever you’re quoted won’t be what it actually costs. This is usually because the initial estimate fails to take unexpected circumstances into account, or because the designer, architect and builder aren’t on the same page, causing delays and overruns.

That’s why plan for unforeseen hurdles with a fixed-price model: it outlines all costs upfront, including materials, labor, and project management, eliminating unexpected expenses. From initial planning to final walkthrough, we proactively manage timelines, budgets, and logistics, avoiding surprises and keeping your project on track.

  • Unfortunately, yes, due to circumstances beyond our control. However, with our fixed-price contract, you won’t start your remodel with an unknown budget, then cross your fingers that the project won’t go over. We provide you a budget that we’ve all built together over multiple months of design work. You’ll know from the very beginning the cost of your home remodel, and we’ll stick to it.

  • Unfortunately, no, because our entire process system is built around accountability for timelines, budget, and quality. Our team is held to that standard–we cannot hold outside groups to that same standard for you. Besides that, again, our process is built holistically, keeping everyone on the same page. If you bring in someone from outside, we can’t use the process we’ve tested over years that we know brings client satisfaction.

  • The nature of home remodeling is that there are always unforeseen circumstances to take into account, and we never take shortcuts to meet a deadline. In general, though, you can expect your home remodel to take between 3 and 6 months. See our ebook for more information.
