Celebrating the New Tectonic Studio with Our Boulder Community

Written By Alexandre Pinto

Last month, we had our inaugural debut of the new Tectonic Design Studio, welcoming our beloved Boulder community into our world of sustainable luxury. Located in the heart of town on 30th and Pearl Street, the studio is both a place of ideation for our home design projects and a place to connect with clients and the community.

From the curated finishes to the custom furniture and uplifting ambiance, we designed a space that holistically represents Tectonic. To celebrate the Studio, we invited our clients, vendors, local partners, friends, and family to enjoy what we have created together and to forge more meaningful relationships that propel our vision of holistic and elevated design.

We were grateful to co-host the event with local business Boulder Lifestyle and one of our continued partners because of our shared values and vision to bring elevated design and architecture to the community. We also brought in the female-owned company, Calluna Events, who supported us on the day of the event and helped bring our vision to life. In true Tectonic form, we prioritized working with local and sustainable businesses that reflect our ethos.

Conscious Collabs

Community always comes first. To showcase the newly finished space, we collaborated with exceptional creatives in our community to offer an immersive experience representative of our business. We integrated florals and gorgeous greenery to the studio’s outdoor space paired with farm-to-table culinary treats and custom gifts for every guest.

Honoring our dedication to building holistic home environments, we enlisted the female-owned, luxury staging company, Ivy Lane, to create an indoor-outdoor living experience to make our guests feel at home in any environment. A stunning floral display from Tectonic partner and sustainable flower shop, Boulder Blooms became the perfect photo backdrop for our guests.

We loved seeing familiar faces and new ones imbibing custom earth-centered cocktails to reflect Tectonic’s use of earth elements in all of our design and architecture projects. Crafted and served by the women-owned Cocktail Caravan, who brought their famous ‘Lola’ camper where the beautiful staff served our guests throughout the evening. We loved having one of Boulder’s most celebrated restaurants, The Kitchen, to cater the event. Tables were adorned with a curation of caviar, oysters, and an epic charcuterie spread with local honeycomb all displayed on our new design studio island. Their incredible staff was the cherry on top.

For an array of sweet desserts, we brought in the savants of baked goods, Süti & Co, whose handmade olive oil cakes and Scandinavian desserts did not disappoint. To ensure our guests didn’t leave empty-handed, we partnered with sustainable furniture and home fragrance company, Meno Home, to gift everyone a gorgeous soy-based, hand-poured candle in a recycled black glass vessel along with Tectonic-branded matches.

Building beautiful, holistic home spaces is what we do best. But, we couldn’t do it without you. We want to thank our community for showing up to support us and we look forward to creating more incredible experiences, together, in our new Tectonic Design Studio.
